Meyrin I love her and all but I think Athrun only likes as a sister Plus Lacus has Kira an Lacus and Athrun are EX fiances Meers dead Lunamaria has Shin so that just leaves Cagalli.But im just tyrin to make sure so awnser please

Before Archangel launched into space to stop Gilbert's plan, Cagalli took off her ring. I think that she decided to put politics first but she was crying when she told Meyrin that she can't launch with them. On Athrun's side, when Kira and Lacus approched him to ask why he didn't make a move, he just answered that even if they are on a "hiatus" they are still fighting for the same thing. I think that Athrun also believes that Cagalli should mind her country's situation first.

It is assumed and I believe that Athrun and Cagalli are still together at the end of Gundam Seed Destiny since Athrun was wearing the Orb uniform at the end of the 4th Special Edition. Meyrin is with ZAFT, so she's out! Good. Athrun is also promoted to Kira's position when he was still with Orb (now he is a commander in ZAFT). That makes Athrun closer to Cagalli even if they try not to show their closeness in public.

Yeah they do. But not that obvious. They didn't get together in the end but basically Athrun proposed to Cagalli near the beginning and then there's some love obstacle between them but Cagalli wore the engagement ring in the end so they're together.
