Well, it's the wrong time of year, but you have a chance at any Florida beach. Just remember, sea turtles need the run from nest to water to establish where they are on the earth. I know it's tempting to give them a little help, but really, the best you can do for them is keep the gulls and stuff away.

If it's Ridley turtles you're speaking of, South Padre Island, TX is a good place (just north of Brownsville). But beware, they are protected by law. If you contact the Chamber of Commerce you will probably find out exactly when and where. I don't know if they still do, but they use to have people come down at the time of hatching and help the turtles, to protect them from predators, making sure they got back to the sea because they were on the verge of becoming endangered.

I think one of the Islands in Greece, though I forget the name.

I would also speak to the People at The Sea Turtle Trust, a charity dedicated to conserving turtles (web address: www.seaturtletrust.org).

Think very carefully about why you want to go as disturbance is one of the factors that can cause high mortality and so put them at risk.

The Sea Turtle Trust might be able to help you decide where to go and to enjoy watching them without harming them.
