whenever I come to flash on a website I 'skip into' - especially when I am shopping... also, if people have older PC's flash can either slow them down or cause the person so have to download to view (this is becoming less and less of an issue as PC's become cheaper and cheaper).. It does have it's place on certian sites, but as far as ecommerce, I personally like the classic webpages

I like plain old html webpages with one or two small images.

Flash takes too long to load. It would be better if the user is given the option to load the flash animation/ videos if he wants it instead of forcing it on the user. Also search engines cannot be used to search the data in flash files

Most flash files on web pages are simple eye candy ... what I look for is info & downloadable files or data.

Sites that are too busy annoy me & insult me.
They remind me of those old late night used car dealer commercials.

The usual only reason they are there is to get your attention to a marketing ad ... just bells 'n whistles .. that's all they are .... & those I could live without.
