I ask myself would Howard Kendall play that formation?
And the answer would be NO, thats why he won the league with Everton.
Everton now are down with the likes of San Marino and the Farao Islands in terms of class. They have become a team that will always end up in the bottom half of the table due to negative football.
What is even funnier is that the Everton fans on their forum believe its a good result. Not one of them are complaining about the way they play.
If thats football then maybe the English premiership is overrated and contains some teams who deserve to be in the lower leagues.
Everton, once associated with the great Dixie Dean are now trying to not score. Quite pathetic in this day and age.

Yes Everton were more concerned with not losing than winning... Having said that they had the best chance of the game in the second half and perhaps should have scored...

typical liverpool fan. teams go out with tactics, if evertons were not to lose, so what. liverpools should of been 2 break them down, which looking at the match stats, they did, just couldnt score! 25 shots in total, only 6 on target, surely the players aren't good enough!!

Typical idiotic football fan who knows 4k all about the game ........... Liverpool fans are always ranting on about how good (hahaha) they are.. you were at home against a team below you, they set there stall out and asked the question,,, ARE YOU GOOD ENOUGH TO BREAK US DOWN... and the fact is YOUR NOT.. so instead of asking why like an intelligent supporter ,you slag off the opposition.. VERY CLEVER
And by the way im not an Everton fan im a Man Utd fan, We get this all the time, difference being WE ARE GOOD ENOUGH to break teams down when they play that way
