Smiles everyone deserves a 10 for this one,,,No offense. I suspect ya might find extra long 2 inch nails in the same aisle as where the 2 x 4 stretchers are located.
On amore serious note, Nails come in Alpha grades then in each grade is noted various lengths. The Alpha designation is the diameter of the nail. 2 Inch can be found in many Alpha grades but are more common in 2D, 4D, or 6D

What you need to know is 2" nails come in several different lengths. You have standard 2" nails. Then you have the short 2"nails, the long 2' nails, and the extra-long 2"nails. Always check to make sure you are getting the right length of 2" nails for your needs.
The longest 2" nails I have seen were just under a foot in length, these were used for nailing landscaping ties.

I was about to call it a nite, but your question brought me back to life. Best laugh I have had all day. Go to Lowe's, and ask for the isle that has off set hammers, left handed monkey wrenches, and there be side the board stretchers you will find the extra long 2 inch nails.

Sometimes it's easier to find the extra short 3" nails and cut 1" off. Look on isle I-D-10-T

Your'e probably talking about 6 Penny nails unless your name is Flojo. Did a Google search? Try "nail makers" or "long 6 Penny nails"

Buy some three inch nails, wash them in hot water and dry them on hi in your dryer, They should shrink up to an inch.
