They are all the same at all retail stores. You can try http://www.ebay.com and they might be cheaper there, but they might not. Since they are new, they will be expensive for a while...

The best prices I have seen for iPods is on Apple's web site. They have refurbished and clearance items at great prices. Refurb is just as good as new and clearance, of course, means Apple's trying to clear out the remaining stock of discontinued items.
I get iPods and Apple computers this way all the time. Never had a problem.

All the places that sell any Apple products have to sell them at Apple's listing price because they are authorized resellers... So no matter where you go your going to have to pay 149.99 for the 2 GB, 199.99 for the 4GB and 249.99 for the 8GB. Your best bet if you want to try to get something cheaper is to go on EBay.

There isn't any real competition they are all about the same price everywhere even for older models. Buy it at a store you trust for return and warranty offers and save the shipping for internet purchases. Comparison shop at site below

I walked through Sears the other day at the mall and they were selling iPod nano's (the old version, mind you) for $59.99 Sure, they aren't colored but they work the same!

Try the Apple store it has refurbished equipment. You can get a lot more for your money and the products are certified with 1 year warranty
