In my experience, if someone is suspicious without reason, it is because they themselves are not trustworthy. Nevertheless, just ask him. If you do not believe him, find a new boyfriend.

If your boyfriend is computer savvy and clears the history you might never know.

I won't speak of trust things because you would want to know if he is downloading kiddy porn or satanic prayers. If he is very savvy he will find out about the things i will tell you about but most people don't even bother to see what programs/services are running in the background.

You need commercial spyware, not the evil kind of spyware.
Commercial spyware is used by companies to monitor what employees are doing on their computers, what sites they goto etc. these programs usually run in the background and the only way to know that it's there is to open task manager and type in the names of the exe's running in the background. Some commercial spyware will hide itself even from task manager. They sometimes go as far as using rootkits.

The program will just run in the background and watch what he is doing keeping record of the programs he opens and what sites he visits, most have keystroke logging capabilities as well so you can see what he has been typing in. You will be able to access this information by opening a program which will usually require a password, or some applications will email you everything.

I can't help you with any programs names because I don't know whether these programs have the more evil kind of spyware attached to them.

Search: "monitor employees computer usage" or "monitor children computer usage"
at yahoo and see what comes.

http://www.exploreanywhere.com/children-internet.htm looks good but i can't tell you whether there is something unwanted bundled with it.

Yes, there is. I will not give out information on how to hack another computer to find out this information, but assuming you have access to the computer he is using, simply open whatever Internet Browser he used, and then check the history. In Internet Explorer click on the View icon, then Explorer Bar, then History. Or you can click Ctrl +H on the keyboard. He may have deleted his history, however, and even the cookies and the cache that also store the sites he visited. To look at cookies go to My Computer > (C:\) drive > Documents and Settings > Administrator > cookies. All of this is conditional based on if the computer he is using has Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer.

You could look at the history on the computer being used but most of the time people that are using a computer for something they shouldn't will clear the history. The best solution would be to put a key logger on the computer being used. This will let you know where he is going on the computer and if he is chatting with someone what is being said. I have posted a few links for you.

Open Internet Explorer then hold ctrl + H. This will show the history provided he doesn't delete the history. If he does there are other ways of finding out but if you have little knowledge of computers it may be a little advanced for you.

Need to probably get one of them net nanny programs. That protect kids. But it also can be used to trace Adults. Especially if they don't know it's on there. Only other possible way is to go into the Internet History. However that wont distinguish the sites he alone has been hitting. But everyone who has access to your computer.

if you have internet exploerer 7, click on hte star (not the one with the plus sign) and then click history. he can delete the history files (which is all the sites he has been 2) and the Autocomplete forms (things hes searched on google and yahoo) so you proablby won't no where hes been. but if he hasnt deleted the autocompetle forms, go to google or yahoo and click in the search bar and press the downward arrow key. if he hasnt delted the autocomplete forms, then you can see what he has searched (ie porno, guns, drugs, dating sites). good luck

You can look at the history on his computer. There is a history button in internet explorer, and if he has firefox its going to be under the "go" tab, or "history" in firefox 2.

Ask him to show you.

Well, I guess if you don't trust him (and therefore shouldn't be bf/gf) you could check the browser history. Bue if he's doing something he wouldn't want you to know about, he'd probably know how to clear that.

I am sure you will get a lot of suggestions, but consider what will happen when he finds out what you are doing.
