your thoughts on prison Population?

writing a paper on Prison Population diversity and would like your thoughts .. pro/cons ?

My idea of an ideal prison setting is in Maricopa County, Arizona. The prisoners are maintained out in the desert in army tents. There's no need for many guards; just a couple of good attack dogs. And where could they go in the middle of the desert. There's air conditioning. ( If it's cold, they put the flaps down; if it's hot the raise the tent flaps. It's time we stopped spending millions (billions) to house and coddle them. If they liked the luxuries of life like electricity, central heat and air and steak suppers, they should not have broken the law. As to population diversity, they're felons so dump them in together and punish instead of baby them.

80% of prisoners are on drug related charges. The war on drugs is a failure. It's time to legalize everything, regulate, tax it.
Legalization would bring down prices and take away most revenue from gangs, maffia and terrorists.

Also most prostitution stems from the need to pay for high priced drugs. We would be doing society a big favor, making the world a better place abolishing all prohibition. There are 2 million prisoners if we cut that # by 80% it would be huge savings to invest in treatment and prevention, homelessness etc...

The prison population flies in the face of the multicultural lie Whites are thrown at. As we know, it's only White countries of the world pushing for diversity (you do not see Africa, Asia, etc doing this -- just Whites working to become minorities in their own countries).

The prison population is comprised disproportional of both Blacks and Hispanics. This is a representation of these people whose entire race has entirely Third World nations. God help White people in prison.

Either way, Prison puts an end to the multi-cultural, "Diversity is out strength" lie.

Well, being as I am from Texas where we have the "express lane" to the needle, I say we should quit giving them so many chances to get out of the death sentence. Once their appeals are complete, put them to death within 30 days. Quit feeding and housing these people for years after they can no longer appeal their sentence.

When it comes to the crimes that do not warrant the death sentence, let's go ahead and build more prisons and create more jobs to keep these people behind bars. Quit releasing them early for "good behavior". They weren't on "good behavior" when they committed the crime that put them there, so what makes you think they will be on "good behavior" when they get out?
