Well I have the deluxe edition, and it came with Sims Creator. I can make custom sims there. That's prolly not much help, but it's all I got.

on the sims website there is a downloadable program that you can customize your sims face

Ur gonna need BodyShop, which comes installed with Sims. And for help, got to the ea site, they have TONS of tutorials
