First get a windows cd.
Then, go into the bios on your computer and make sure that the cdrom is the first boot device.
Insert the cd and then restart. It will say press any button to load cd, or something like that.
Then go through the installation. Its easy and youll definitely figure it out the first time.

Put the OS CD in and boot up with it. Then depending on which OS you are going to load, you should get prompts that will lead you through the procedure. If you have installed a brnad new blank hard drive, read the instrucxtions carefully as they willhave the FAT table, BRB, and Directory track stored on it and you may have to do something to open them up before doing anything else. Some I have had to do and some I didn't.

For example if you wish to install XP, than take tyhese steps: Put cd in cd drive and "restart" your pc whilst cd is in. If it is booting from your cd than you should see message like Boot from cd rom........ if you see that than press any key to boot from cd rom. Now if you didnt see or missed it than you have to restart your pc and be quick to press any key. If you dont see the message to boot from cd rom than again restart the pc and straightwawa press the button "del" which will open Bios screen where you will be able to set cd drive as first boot. Than foloow whats written above. Just follow the onscreen instruction but when you get to partition delet the partition and format the drive as NTFS. After that have a cup of tea or coffee and wait. Ask again if you didnt understand.
