I guess you don't believe in Freedom of Speech or Freedom of Expression? Or maybe you think that the only ones with that right or privilege are the ones who agree with you or think like you? How about if he can say anything he wants pretty much as you can? Or, how about the fact that he's in his own country?
WHO CARES WHAT HE SAYS? How is that hurting YOU? Hey, kiddo, didn't your parents ever teach you, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me"?
Hey, I'm no fan of that clown but he DID SEND AID to the victims of Katrina (and the Canadians) and his aid arrived in Louisiana DAYS BEFORE our own Federal Government, the President (who was enjoying yet another vacation) and Consoleeza Rice (who was playing tennis and told by a few participants about Katrina and Louisians, later she went shopping and other customers chased her out yelling at her about Katrina; and at night was booed out of a theater by others in the audience that yelled at her about Katrina and Louisiana) were even "aware" of what was going on in Louisiana, as if they didn't have a TV or a radio or even a telephone... that's how well informed they are! Why don't you mention THAT while you're telling us so many so-called "truths" or are you just saying a one-sided version of the "truth"? How about the fact that he's using his country's resources in an effort to turn his country's economy around by helping the poorest, and building hospitals and schools, etc., and big businesses are not able to screw over the poor people as they do here in America?
Go ahead, tell it as it is or does it bother you that American big businesses can't go in there and steal that country's resources and further enrich themselves while contaminating that countries waters and lands and running off with profits and doing nothing for the people of that country? Can you answer without name-calling, or using slogans or rhetorical propaganda?
EDITED: The last time I checked, no one had nominated or elected YOU to do any bashing; he can say anything he wants, just as we can also call him names. He's very far away... we have more pressing matters in this country to deal with, don't you think? Let him deal with the people that elected him, and let history run its course. He's in HIS country, his people support him and we have no business meddling; I think we've done enough of that lately,... we have enough on our plates... we're trying to win a war so a President can feel comfortable about hs "legacy" when he leaves office (see Time Magazine, date: February 12, 2007), meanwhile we're wasting in billions of dollars and losing many precious American lives!

i don't think anyone would say he isn't a piece of sh*t, 'cept maybe danny glover, but he seems like an incompetent imbescile to me. i don't think he is a real threat at the moment. it depends on how deep his ties go. he has basically made allies with all the US's enemies, but his rationale makes no sense. venezuela is not strategically important, im sure security councils have their eye on him. anyone with a brain knows he's not to be trusted. the only way he can gain control of the region is to gain support of the drug cartels, but as a legitimate regime, he stands too much to lose getting involved with cartels. i don't think his alliances will grow deep, the only reason our enemies seem to be corroborating with him is because they see him as a tool to propegate their agenda. he will not stand for long. he is an idiot.

Yeah, they're mean things to say, and I don't agree with his assessments, he still has a right so say them. It's his country. He can do whatever he wants.
I don't think he'd get any love from Americans if he came here on vacation, though.

It might be oK for brother Hugo to shoot his mouth off in his heavily guarded palace in Caracas, but I double dog dare the fat ugly little ---- to come up here and talk like that in most any bar in Oklahoma where I live. The rednecks here (God bless them all)would shut his nasty pie hole up in a hurry.

The question answers itself. If you can't believe it, then don't believe it. The world is filled with bad people, why not focus on some good people?
