SIMS II is slow and choppy. Here are some specs on my computer. How can I fix it? Other games seem to run fine.

1.5 GB RAM
2.20 GHz
Commit Charge is approx 450/2055M
Graphic Card: VisionTek RADEON 9250 PCI

Check ati website for updated drivers, you may need to upgrade video card. You should also be able to go into Sims II config options and turn down some video options (shadows etc.)

It will be very slow because of all the graphics on the game. If the game gives you screen-size settings, chose the smallest possible. Don't leave the game on for long periods of time, either.

The Sims takes up ALOT of room on your hard drive, you may want to invest in a bigger hard drive and more memory
