Yes, and when MM really wants to, he is more powerful then all of them. Superman has even been quoted that MM is the most powerful person on Earth.
Just check out "The Burning Martian" story line in JLA. MM went crazy and he became Fernus, and was a Martian that lived in a state of fire and chaos. No one was able to stop him until they freed the good side of MM's brain.
His vulnerability to fire is still there in a sense, but its not as bad as before. This was done by training and meditation with the villain Skorch.
So, in a sense, MM has the capability of being unstoppable, but his pacifist green philosopher martian sense normally doesnt let him.

Yes but for some reason the Martian Manhunter holds back his mental powers give him the edge over Marvel & superman (though his vulnerability to fire evens things up)

J’onn J’onzz was never intended to be a clone of Superman, that was what lazy writers of the sixties did to him. When he was first introduced, he didn’t even seem to be able to fly! The powers that they focused upon were 1) the telepathy, both mind reading (of current, ‘active’ thought, not deep reading into the memories) and thought transmission; 2) the shape shifting (with which he disguised himself as his alter egos, John Jones, police detective, and Marco Xavier, agent of Interpol); 3) invisibility and 4) intangibility (the ability to pass through walls.) Some writer who probably did not know what his actual powers were supposed to be gave him ‘Martian’ vision, ‘Martian’ strength, and even ‘Martian’ breath! Did they think that ‘Martian’ was a synonym for ‘Super’…? It was ridiculous.

his powers are different than Superman's and Captain Marvell's. they are all near the same level overall. if you want to know who is on top. in a fight Superman would win, Captain Marvel is a toss up.

No, He is not as strong as Superman and Marvel. Just that one point means he is not on par with them.

Yes they are but for some reason he hasn't been portrayed as powerful as them since early in his creation. Now he is considered a little less powerful.
His weakness to fire has been taken away thanks to I believe her name is Torch. It happened in a storyline back in the JLA series.
