It does not matter who is chasing you in your dreams..it all represents a part of yourself... What is going on in your life that you feel you have no control over?

I had a re-occuring dream of being chased...What I did to stop it was when I was being chased, was I turned around and he grabbed me by my upper arms, and I just started pounding on him...after that, I did not have that dream anymore.....How did I do that? I told myself as I was falling asleep, that I would confront him the next time it happened...sometimes it will take a few nights, but it will work....But also like I said, take a look at what is going on in your life....

Nobody can tell you exactly what your own dreams mean execpt for yourself. Dreams where you are chased do generally mean that you are having feelings of being trapped, or that you are in denial, or that you are avoiding something, but nobody can tell you exactly what they mean.

If these dreams are keeping you from getting a good nights sleep, or if they are interfering with your life, a psychologist can nelp you figure out the root cause of your dreams and help you resolve the problem.

A lot of people can stop recurring deams by telling themselves over and over that they will confront the people chasing them. You might want to try this for a while before you pay to see a psychologist. Before you go to sleep every night, just think about confronting the people chasing you. Visualize it in your mind, the more detail the better.

The dream interpretation sites that you can find on the internet are not a good tool to use, because dreams are unique and very very person-specific.

Tonight try something different. Say aloud 3 times before turning the lights off: "Tonight I am going to confront those chasing me!", and imagine yourself doing just that, demanding to know "Why are you chasing me? STOP NOW!!!". View: http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/ and srart a dream diary, then learn to analyse your dreams, questioning every character in it about what they want. Go to your library and take out books on dream analysis, based on sound psychological principles, like those of Fritz Perls. Takes time and discipline to get up and write down every dream in detail, including emotions, but you have the motivation!

god i hate dream questions, there are like 50 a day, why dont you look up past dreams questions? look, how can complete strangers tell you who you are? thats what you are asking, dreams either are just dreams, or can only be interpreted by you. A dog to you may be the devil cause you saw a dog eat a kid or a dog may be an angel cause a dog saved your life once in real life (as opposed to a dream) being chased might mean that your mum hit you when you were a kid, or you feel like your getting old or any of a million things. do you want us to tell you your favorite color and favorite ice cream flavor too?
sorry if i sound pissy, but i read this question a lot...and i just woke up.

It's probably related to something that has nothing to do with anything you actually dream, sort of an underlined meaning. Hey, if all else fails, just watch some really disturbing movie and hat'll replace the dreams...perhaps not with better dreams, but different ones none the less.

Gurl, I have been getting the exact same dreams!... Usually... I go to this one site that interprets dreams and they say that runnign from someone means that your hiding something i need to talk to someone about something. I've been trying the site out lately, but it isn't working. Try out-
