Letter of enquiry:
Is written to seek information on a variety of matters such as the availability of a product, its price and the term of payment.

Letter of reply:
Is a response to an enquiry. A reply is to provide all necessary details and relevant information clearly which may include price, model, size and term of payment.

Letter of complaint:
A written form of complaint to the Customer Service Manager to request for a fair solution. For example, a policyholder of an insurance company write a letter to complaint about the poor service rendered by customer service officer.

Letter of adjustment:
This type of letter is written to explain the situation and inform action such as apologise.
