god i hate dream questions, there are like 50 a day, why dont you look up past dreams questions? look, how can complete strangers tell you who you are? thats what you are asking, dreams either are just dreams, or can only be interpreted by you. A dog to you may be the devil cause you saw a dog eat a kid or a dog may be an angel cause a dog saved your life once in real life (as opposed to a dream) walmart may represent happiness cause your grandpa works there or sadness cause walmart ran your grandfather out of business.
do you want us to tell you your favorite color and favorite ice cream flavor too?
sorry if im pissy, i just woke up.

A good way to explain dreams is in terms of garbage. Think of the accumulated thoughts of your day as the smelly food scraps and cardboad boxes that pile up. Just like the garbage man comes with his garbage truck and takes the garbage away, sleep comes with dreams and emptied your mind of all the extra thoughts and emotions stored up in your mind.
Dreams are essentially random garbage built up through the day that your brain has to get rid of. Even if you dont know you're remebering little things, your brain stores them away for future use. If every bit of information your brain ever stored stayed there, your brain would fill up, and it would end up being a lot like a computer with its entire memory card filled. To keep this from happining, you dream. You only remember dreams when they are particularly odd or when you wake up in the middle of them. There are gaps between dream cycles in your sleep rhthm, and when you wake up during one of these, you won't remember your dream.
There are also theorys out there that dreams are your subconcious "trying to tell you something", or working out problems.
In the case of your strange dream, you've probably thought about your friends, and your friends dog. Have you been to Wal-Mart recently? There are a lot of old people in there, at least in our many local Wal-Marts. Even if you havn't been there recently, you've probably thought about it, and you've probably seen or thought about old people sometime.
Hope that answers your question!

Well, some of my dreams have been future realities. Hahaha, I know, its so scary to me! Thankfully just a few of my dreams have actaully played out in real and not all of them. *phew*.
However, with your dream, you probably just eat something too late last night :) I'm sure it was just one of those odd dreams.

it means that you have an active imagination. your mind rejuvinates itself at night and things that you are most familiar with, care about, or are scared of all play a part in your dreams. so does the mood in which you go to bed, or even what you watch (scary movie).
