Never hold a grudge it can become a negative influence on your own life. I know someone who fell out with her daughter over a small misunderstanding. Despite living only streets away from each other they didn't speak for over 20 years.....how sad is that?
Don't hold a grudge, try to forgive if not forget.

I don't (in fact I make it a point not to), but my husband and mother-in-law can hold amazing grudges that last years. They're hillbilly stock and there's at least one long-running family feud in the family's past. I stay out of it and have long since given up trying to tell them grudges are worse than useless.

I use to be that type of person. Now I find there is not much point on holding a grudge, it does not help.

Sometimes I do, and I'll go all my way out to make life difficult for the abuser/bully. I've gotten 3 people sacked from their jobs just by speaking to their respective bosses cos they were so rude and used obscene gestures and language to me in front of other customers. I will track such people down eventhough it might cost me my life savings. I will even sell my car to get back at someone who has tormented me for years -- there is no such thing as forgiveness for these bullies. But sometimes I just let it go, but I seldom forget. So, yes, I do hold a grudge... sometimes.

depends on the severity- but most times i let it go as bygones. There's no point wasting grudgeful energy over worthless issues and people who make you feel that way... so still no- but i don't forget- but not with a vengeance- i'm just a lot more careful around those people who try to bring out the worst in me and others
