Now that we are in the dead of winter, I'm noticing my pellet stove isn't burning as hot as it used to (on the same setting), like it did earlier in the winter/late fall. Is this because of colder temperatures outside, or is something else wrong?

My pellet stove is made by Harman.

Check you draft control. Clean out any residue and check feeder if automatic.

I don't have a pellet stove, but I would say that there is likely a problem. My guess is that there is some sort of airflow problem. Not enough air, the fire will not burn as hot.

Have you cleaned out the "Fly Ash" This must be done on a regular basis. Check your instruction book and it will tell you about this and how to do it.
Good Luck
