No. He is Scottish in Scotland, and British in England. He is trying to reduce Britishness to an academic exercise, whereas, it comes from the heart. Of course it allows him to redefine Britishness to suit New Labours left wing multicultural agenda.

Gordon Bennett! I've just spent half an hour dealing with Tony Blait as "true guardian of British Values", and now someone asks the same of his likely successor.
Brown has been an excellent Chancellor of the Exchequer, and there he should remain, simply because he does a very good job. I have no confidence in him as potential PM. In fact, I cannot think of anyone within the parliamentary Labour Party who could be PM, the present incumbent included. Brown is probably the only Labour politician who has a clue about anything.
The most I can say is that if I were elected as PM, from any Party, I would ask Gordon to cross the floor and be my Chancellor of the Loot. I have no use for him as PM, but then I am equally unimpressed with Sir Menzies (Mingus) or the Tory chap.
I say, Boris Johnson for PM.

Good God no! Nowadays he's trying to emphasise his Old Labour credentials but he was one of the architects of New Labour along with Tony Blair and Peter Mandelson and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.
Last year I had a moment of madness and joined the Labour Party and if there's a leadership contest I'm totally voting for John McDonnell. He rocks.

He is a flat liner. I dont think he will rule after Tony Blair. I think the Party should vote a new leader not appoint brown.

No - he is only the true guardian of stealth taxes and other sneaky practices.
I also can't believe this greaseball knew nothing about the loans for honours either.
