Just curious why stay together if you cheated? You not married? No kids, no tails to worry about if you both split and go different ways? Why stay in relationship if you have to go sniff someone else stuff? If you have to do all that or you get tempted to do your partner dirty why even stay with that person? Why waste someones time? Why people cant just do each other a favor and go different ways???

That is the good question you have asked. It all boils down to the type of character you have paired up with. If your partner is of sound character and you have a perfect relationship then you should not have to worry about cheating partners. Less you have to be brutally honest with yourself in this matter as there is no relationship "perfect". Humans are not made this way. This is why good character is needed in a relationship. Not anyone woman or man can provide perfect relations to their partner. We as human beings are not perfect, so therefore humans can be lead astray. This is why forgiveness is in the human vocabulary. Men tend to stray from a relationship due to something missing from the relationship, even though it maybe close to perfect. Men are also not made to be monogamous, but that is not excuse, just a fact. That is why Character is important in any relationship. Why do they stray, it is just human nature, we all want our cake and eat it to. Why give up one part of the relationship for the some other part? Why lose it if one can try to have all the parts he or she is needing. That is why people can't just do each other a favor and go different ways. It is easier to lie, than to say good bye. Good Luck

I think they want to justify the fact that they could actually do it, they wanna prove to themselves. Some ppl wanna know if they r with the right person so they wnna c if they might b missing out or something. I dont think there is such thing as the perfect relationship, let alone the word perfect! no ones perfect i guess maybe they just made a mistake.. i dont know its 12 am i better go to sleep sorry if im talking crap hahaha

Relationships are not simple things. A person can be in love with someone and want to be with them, and still find themselves tempted to be with another person. People make mistakes. Relationships worth fighting for can be saved if the people in the relationship (both the cheater and the non-cheater) are willing to put the past behind them.

Depending on their situation, they stay together for convience. It's like sampling the pie w/o buying the whole thing. And you hope noone finds out unless a STD enters the pic. They just probably need to know that the grass isn't always greener on the other side...

I agree with you 100%. I think it goes back to our primitive days. We all like variety, especially if your inexperienced. Some people like the thrill. Some people are always asking themselves if he/she is "the one". But since than we have evolved. It's harder to let someone go emotionally than it is physically.
