Most glue only sets up when it comes in contact with the air. Since there's little or no air in the tube of glue, the glue remains fluid.

The glue does not stick to the inside of the tube as as of yet it remains unexposed to the air molecules so therefore it does not dry out

Glue needs two sides that are porous enough for the elements to band together.A tube is one, and there is no air in the tube to help with the bonding process......Unless it is superglue which sticks to all,,,,,

Superglue is made from cynoacrylates, which require moisture and air to go off, without both of these it will remain a liquid in the tube.

Must be something to do with when it hits the air. It dries up and makes things stick.
