i am a tenant of family Mosaic in the uk,My neighbours have laid laminated flooring,they live above me and making my life hell ,does any one know if they are allowed to lay it,as we are in a small block.

Your best bet is to contact the management company - whoever does the maintenance or holds the freehold to the building.
Look for a contact number on your most recent ground rent or maintenance bills.

Ask your Landlord about this. Tell him the problem you have. If he is their landlord as well. he can make them take it up. If not, have a word with the Enviroment Officer on your local Council.

i don't think there is a law against it ..but normally you put down an under lay this does cushion the sound complain to your landlord

alot of people are asking this question and the answer lies in your contract! if you were told not to lay it then i'm sure they are not allowed it? but i'm sure in this case they will be in the wrong and i would get on to you landlord to warn them or tell them to take it up!
