Just call the cops and let them know who's in this package and they will know how to get rid of the smell for good.
This is all the details I can give you but the sooner you call the cops the sooner the smell will go away and this I promise.

If you saw how they make salami you would never eat one again. I was visiting a friend at the meat plant where he worked years ago. There were these moldy green things hanging from the ceiling. The mold was so thick you could not see what it was. He said they were salamis, and that they would wash them and let the mold grow back several times before they were done. That's how they are made. Considering that, can it really go bad?

Find a construction site where the cement is still wet.. They won't find the "package" for 40 - 50 years.

I'll call my uncle Guido and ask for his advice.
He runs an import / export business in Manhattan, so he has a lot of experience getting rid of unwanted boxes.

If you can not give it to the garbage collector and you have enough space that you can burn it, do so. You can also bury it in the ground.
