They have a good website that tells a lot about the school. Check it out.

Fordham is a very respectable school in New York. They have a campus in the Bronx - it's very nice - really, the nicest campus of any NY city school. And they have another campus in midtown right across from the Lincoln Center arts area.

Fordham is run by the Catholic Jesuits, but you do not have to be Catholic to go there. The admission is rather selective... you have to be a good solid B+ - A- student to get in.

I liked this school a lot when my kids visited it, but they wound up going to other schools.

To get in, make sure you are getting the best grades in the most difficult classes you can handle. (Don't overload yourself on APs--you're allowed to have a life!)

Fordham has two main campuses--one in Manhattan, one in the Bronx. The one in the Bronx is a more traditional college campus; in Manhattan, it's more of a bunch of buildings. But you can take classes at both, and there's a shuttle between the two.

The Bronx campus is VERY nice. It's not far from the subway into the city, and it's in close walking distance to the Bronx Botanical Gardens and the Central Park Zoo. The school has a football team as well.

The school is one of the top-ranked Catholic Universities in the nation.
