A chemical reaction from a physical point of view can be described like this: "moving 1 or more electrons from one atom to another".

When you cook, for example an egg, you are just denaturing the proteins on the egg, nice chemical reaction.

When your sink is clogged and you put NaOH into it to clean the tubes, well that's a chemical reaction.

So cooking, cleaning, running your car, repairing something with your acrylic or silicone glue, and even your nice plant growing on your balcony are just chemical ractions.
