When sneezing, one's eyelids reflexively close, to protect the tear ducts and blood vessels from bacteria expelled in the sneeze, and possibly to combat the unpleasant pressure a sneeze produces behind the eyes. Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to sneeze and keep one's eyes open.

No, all I need is an exacto razor knife and you too can keep your eyes open while you sneeze! Of course your eyes are going to get a bit dry with no eyelids... but I have the technology to help you.

i'm surprisingly particular it is simply by fact your sneeze is going maximum of mph which you only immediately close your eyes.Your eyes are linked to your sinuses.i did not hit upon a "solid" internet site to your question yet i'm hoping this helped.I additionally asked around and a few stated it wasn't provened that no person would be unable to have their eyes opened while sneezing.
