one of my girl pals is playing the field and seeing and sleeping with different guy's she isn't ready to settle yet, she is taking precautions though. She would be classed as a sl ut by society, even by other women.
Men however, can do this sort of thing and it is accepted by society and even praised by other men and laughed off by others or dismissed as 'jack the lad' behaviour so what's behind it?

I think times have changed a bit though and girls who sleep around aren't seen as badly as they were say 10-20 years ago, but you are right there is still that perceived difference. I used to work in a pub and I saw all this banter going on all the time, the jack the lad thing, other guys egging on the guy asking a different woman home with him almost every night of the week. As long as it's done safely I personally see no problem with it and it is just a way of getting to find out about yourself.

For centuries it has been the case that women have been dominated and brutalised by men. Throughout history you have been little more than possessions.
Part of that domination has been the idea that it's OK for a man to sleep around but not a woman. It is indefensible.
It is only since two world wars and the invention of the pill that you have had a chance to get even.

To say a word in our defence, it is the case in many animals that the male's job is to spread his genes amongst as many females as possible. It's the female's part to choose the partner who is going to father the best possible babies.

Nonetheless, you've been unfairly treated since agrarian times.
But it wasn't my fault, Hotgirl, honest.

You want more answers to this. Men are programmed to sleep around - they have the equipment to populate the world, whereas woman have a nine month cycle. Hence a man is driven by his genitals far more than a woman. Consequently it is accepted more for men to act like this than women.

It is not more acceptable and it is wrong for both genders to sleep around.

Society does not accept it. All men do not accept it. It's ground's for divorce, by law and society, and religion. Perhaps you need to leave the neighborhood you live in and see society, not just one subset.

probably because men and others like girls to behave like well behaved and not do that kind of thing,
but its becoming more acceptable i think i certainly don't judge.
