Wow, you have a lot of questions about girls.
Menarche (a girl's first period) may occur as young as age 8 or as late as 16. Every girl is different. Girls have periods until they are in their late 40's to early 50's, and then they stop. That is called menopause.
Girls do not all have their period at the same time, although some girls that live together may synchronize their cycles.
Regarding "midgets", it depends entirely on the cause of the slow growth. You really can't say anything across the board for all short girls.
Some, but not all, 7th graders will have periods. Same with 7th grade midgets.
Don't they teach you this stuff in school?

It can vary according to heredity. It has NOTHING to do with height.
Most girls start between 9 and 17. The average age is 13 or 14. Most women have their periods until they're in their 50s when they have menopause. Exactly when in their 50s can also vary according to heredity - about 53 -55.
Women usually go through Peri-menopause (the time when body changes happen and the periods change) during their 40s, but it can happen as early as the 30's. This can last about 10 years until they hit menopause (periods stop).
I was 13 when I had my first period, but mine have never been normal. I have been going through
Peri-menopause since April 2006. I'm 44.

ok a period is a shedding of the lining where the baby would go if you got pregnant. a midget? or a small person? im small and I got mine and im 13. My friends all started recently too and they're 13 as well. 7th grade is a very common age. it all depends on the girl...the "midgets" could just as easily be early

Most young women get their periods around the ages of 11-17. Don't worry about it, the longer without a period the happier you will be. I don't know if being a midget would effect your baby making parts. If you would like to know don't be shy, ask your doctor.

All girls are diffrent as to when they start their cycle. Some girls that are very active-like sports, gymnastics...wont start till later on.
The female cycle is the shedding of the uterine wall.......think of it as a cleaning cycle for women. It also when women/girls begin to produce certain hormones that will help release their egg durring ovalation....witch occurs 7-14 days after their cycle.
