Yes. For goodness sake, slang changes depending on what part of the US or UK one is in, why get all out of sorts about it? So we speak the same language but differently...so what. That happens when you are talking about two entirely different countries and cultures.

The French/slang spoken by French Canadians is different from that spoken in France.....again, so what?

Occasional bickering is an element of any relationship. this is a robust ingredient. a manner of clearing the air. Even a manner of doing some renegotiating in a relationship. besides the undeniable fact that, there is bickering and there is bickering. whilst the argument turns into UNFAIR and you the two initiate asserting hurtful issues, then there is the suggestion that there are underlying matters that are no longer small in any respect. On some point you're the two sabotaging the relationship and combating it from advancing. Why? possibly one or the two certainly one of you does not somewhat need it to bypass to that next point. possibly certainly one of you is feeling compelled in some way. possibly you in basic terms don't be attentive to a thank you to argue in a useful way. regardless of this is, that is not a small ingredient. It sounds to me such as you 2 might desire to take a seat and communicate heavily and actual approximately what you the two choose for for the destiny.

I wasn't aware that there is bickering about slang. Thats so stupid. An English guy that I had only met for the day was going to pick me up the next day to go to an affair, but the way he said it was "I'll knock you up at ten". I nearly swallowed my tongue!
I didn't want to get knocked up, I just wanted to get picked up.
Anyway, every time I hear about an issue like this one, I have to smile, ya know?
