a couple of good points and a couple of bad points.

Yes, attacking Americans seems to awaken the sleeping giant. We, in general, are very eager to get revenge here in the US. Not that defending oneself is a bad thing. It's necessary.

However, the terrorists are not promoting a people. Or even an ideal at this point. They have been taught since day one that to die fighting gets them martydom in Heaven. So who are they supposed to fight? They focus on those with different beliefs. Us. Israel. etc.

Look at Iraq. You have two different factions of the same religion blowing up each others children. Simply because of differences of beliefs. Exactly which people are being promoted?

We tell other nations and this is extortion when they know that military force is at the ready . Naval vessels to blockade trade ground units to prevent trade .We use this tactic to get what we want . This is wrong and will never work .It has been proven wrong over many years . Force and torture do not promote passiveism among the people rather it creates terrorists .
