Seeds could be dropped fro airplanes, plants would grow there, there would be more plants on the planet consuming carbon dioxide, that would help the lobal warming problem.

There would have to be a lot of reservoirs built that are really deep to keep those plants alive. It is still a desert, so the water would evaporate in the air quickly, so you would need really deep reservoirs for one field. And any who, carbon dioxide doesn't cause the world to die, because everything (basically) exhales carbon dioxide. It's not what is the big problem with global warming. As the flood thing would help with deforestation in other countries, you'd need animals to maintain the health of the trees and plants that live there. It would take a very long time before those seeds were trees, so you are looking at a long term investment. Back to the global warming, burning fossil fuels are the danger to global warming, and everything else like your furnace leaking, (gives off carbon monoxide). Nice idea, but it's in the wrong place for the wrong reason.
