you should only use one anti-virus program.....i recommend very highly norton internet security 2007....spyware applications can be multiple....it is to your advantage....what one doesn't catch..the other will....my recommendations:....spybot search and destroy and Ad-Aware SE Personal...(both of which are free)...if you truly want the job done right get: Webroot Spy Sweeper...about $40 yearly....finds about 90% of spyware, where the free applications only finds about 60-70%....

Only use one anti virus, but it is always good to have more than one anti syware, because every spyware program will find different things.
Using more than one anti virus will cause problems as they will conflict with wach other.

It isn't recommended running more than 1 antispyware program on 1 computer. Both anit-spywares will not run

you can only have one antivirus run at a time
you can have 2 or more spyware programs.
I have 2 antivirus - I turn one off and keep it as a back-up and I run the other one full time.

my security system rocks. never have problems.
AVG Free for general antivirus
Spybot Search and Destroy for spyware, and
Adaware for adware and malware
also keep smit removal tool on hand for that, and a registry cleaner called regedit something.

most programs don't run properly if you duplicate services. in some cases it can actually be damaging to computer
