to pursue a married person for months even after the married person has told them they are happily married. The married person is out of state working for several months away from his family. Finally after a drunken night the pursuer gets what they want and an affair begins. Then the married person goes home to his family, and the single person continues to pursue them. What makes some people seem this needy? To want to ruin a marriage at no cost. To play on a persons weakness of being lonely and away from their family? And then to expect them to be theirs for all eternity? Even after the married person tells them they were the biggest mistake they ever made, and they are working things out with their spouse. Wat is wrong with people these days?

Low self esteem, and lack of morals. Welcome to the 21st century. Marriage commitments mean nothing to some people.

First of All, You should never have cheated on your Spouse, to begin with..You only complicated matters with the Single person. Now you have gave them "Hope". They figure if you will Cheat once, married or not you will do it again..This individual is also the type to contact your wife, if you continue to reject them. I am sorry to say this, but the only true way to end this now, since you have tried everything else, Is to tell your wife.. I am sure you are saying H*** No that will ruin my marriage. If this Single person gets to her first, you will not even stand a chance of working things out..

You ask what is wrong with people these days? You mean what is wrong with the married people who have an affair with somebody else? You should already know the answer to that. Don't go pinning all the blame on the single pursuer, it takes two to tango....

Moral of the story: Don't stick your wick where it don't belong.

They just like the challenge, and of course the ego boost when they get what they want. Sadly, this often breaks up allot of homes and many innocent people are hurt. Selfishness and egos are the two primary causes for either sex to go after a married person.

Probably because they look forward to "a drunken night" when they will get what they want.

People would not pursue a married person, if there weren't so many unfaithful married people out there.

i believe that people who can't give up, no matter what, is caused by the persons childhood, and unresponsive parents. things were taken from this person before they were ready to give them up. causes one to cling to things, and what they are seeking is to avoid the pain involved in giving the thing up. she may be neurotic and has no capacity to give up anything. she may have a mental problem caused by her childhood experience.

Apparently she wants something she can not have.
You have to get rid of her before she makes your life a living nightmare.
Change your phone numbers and keep them unlisted.
you have to tell her one more time, to leave you alone and never speak to her again.
Good Luck.

They get to have what they want without the attachment or obligation of marriage.

attachment...it's hard to let attachment go. sometimes it takes everythingfor the person to realize it ...sorry...there is no instant cure for it...unless this person wants to let it go herself. also there is something wrong with her for sure...have some empathy for her and you will see why she behaves this way!
