They are always located under the right side of the rear seat. I'm not familiar with the 1995, but usually there is a false floor under that side of the seat. You remove it by loosening a couple of screws. The pump is usually enclosed in a foam box to keep it quiet.

Hmmm...interesting question. Well, way back when I used to drive a 1984 190E, I discovered that my central locking wasn't working (electro-pneumatic). When I bought a new engine or module or what ever it is they call it, I up-rooted the rear-right passenger seat (where it is situated) only to find that there wasn't even one there...did someone steal mine or what?

Anyway, I just plugged in this replacement: plug the electric power supply to its jack, then plug in the air supply (pneumatic line), I tried the lock-unlock and presto...it worked. I don't know where its situated in your car but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check under your rear seats (they can/should be removable for cleaning).

A pump?
Phone your Mercedes Dealer Parts Department. They should be able to tell you and the cost of replacement.
Generally merc parts are cheap its the labour that is unbelievable.
