If your team needed a quarterback in the 2007 NFL Draft, but you had a pick below the top 10, which of these guys would you take and how early would you take them?

Drew Stanton, Michigan State
Troy Smith, Ohio State
Kevin Kolb, Houston
Chris Leak, Florida
Tyler Palko, Pittsburgh
Jeff Row, Nevada
Or any others?

I would take Stanton, big, strong, mobile, good accuracy.
You?

Pros and cons of each:

Stanton: Big, strong, pretty mobile, decent accuracy. Downside - very very poor in big games - not clutch AT ALL. Intangible enough it may not matter.
Smith: Too short, can't play without a beastly receiver (Ted Ginn), not accurate... very mobile however.
Kolb: Don't know enough, but I know he's pretty good.
Leak: Never looked good to me. No reason I would take him except intangibles.
Palko: Too weak an arm, not mobile enough. Accurate though.
Row: Strong arm. Not enough exposure, but a very good QB.

I would like to add John Beck of BYU. I have seen him play several times, and he is very accurate, very smart, very strong, and very clutch (see Utah). He can also be mobile enough if you need him to be.

My top 3 (in order) would be Beck, Row, then Stanton. However, Kolb would be close and he may be higher, I haven't seen him enough.

I would take Jamarcus Russell of LSU because Brady Quinn is overrated just like Notre Dame every year, Troy Smith and Chris Leak are good college qb's but will turn out like Cade McNown or Akili Smith in the pros, I would choose Stanton
