Yes they do! You see moths are just male butterflies. So they undergo metamorphsis.

Yes, moths go through complete metamorphosis. That's what they call the whole caterpillar, pupae, etc. Grasshoppers and other insects go through a metamorphosis but it is not 'complete.' They shed and renew their exoskeletons along with some other minor changes but they do not actually change forms and diets.
