can i find a scale ruler on the web which i can print?

I wouldn't trust any ruler which you printed from the web. Too many variables could make the scale slightly off. I'd just put on your coat and go buy one. Sorry.

It's not exactly a ruler, but the first page has one on the side. go to http://emsc32.nysed.gov/osa/reftable/reftablearch/esref.pdf (copy that into the url). It's in cm
