I forget the name of this one, but it has a restaurant on top that spins (slowly) as you eat. Great spot for walking to their underground mall or a short distance to the waterfront in Old Montreal. There's some up on Cote de Neigie too around McGill that are also in a nice area.

This this site for some good rates: iBtraveling.com It's usually where I can find something cheap.

Have fun and good luck there! It's quite a nice city and safe too.

The best hotel is the Fairmont "La Reine Elizabeth" John Lennon and a lot of famous people stayed there

It is located in Rene Levesque west, it is the best one I've seen so far, but it is expensive!

If you want to get something confortable and affordable even though not five star or fancy try the econoloudge!

I never stay in hotels in Montreal (my parents live there) but Le Chateau Champlain LOOKS the coolest.
