No it's not racist...and some people need to get a thicker skin..Sad s*d, anyway, it's a word used so often as a weapon, it's losing it's impact,so don't worry.

I don't think it's racist at all. Unfortunately, as has been posted before, The Jews as a race have obviously suffered horrendous racism and genocide so asking a question like this is obviously going to ruffle some feathers. What I want to know is, of all those people who shout "racism", how many are actually Jewish? I know plenty of Jews who would find this question highly amusing. I'm going to ask them their opinion!
The Vampire myth (or truth, depending on what you believe),has fascinated us for a couple of centuries, so why should you not ask hypothetical questions about them? What I want to know is if Vampires cannot have a reflection, how come they always have perfect hair and make up in films? Do they all do each others?
I can just picture a vampire sleepover where they're all plaiting each others hair and giving each other facials...priceless!

If a Jewish man WERE turned into a vampire, would he be burned by the cross, or the star of David?
I do not find it racist. Perhaps he would be burned by both.

hahahaha That is a funny question! I have gotten into vampire stories, so I am not making fun of you.
Technically, it is a "Jewish race", so anything said negatively could be construed as racist.
The tradition of the cross burning a vampire was made in 'christian' countries. [rolls eyes]
A Jewish vampire? By this point, it could even be argued that either symbol used against them is racist, against the species of vampires.
But asking about star of david is associated with Jewish tradition and its race. Thus 'racist'.

It's not. I remember seeing a film in which Alfie Bass played a Jewish vampire and his victim to be held out a cross. He said "Boy, have you got ze wrong vampire". Most people thought it was funny. There certainly weren't any cries of racism.

Who really cares? I have found that most people that call racism all the time are the ones that bring the topic out the most and won't let it rest. Isn't that something? The people that are supposedly trying to tell us how racist we are are the ones constantly talking about it.

That's not racist. Racism is when you belittle someone based on their race. This is just an interesting rhetorical question based on mythology. It may be interpreted as anti-religion by a person who was overly sensitive, but I don't imagine how it could be taken as racist, no matter how it's viewed.

Come on! In fact, no people thinks that British white people are superior race. The so called "racist" is when ethnic minority people wants to take advantage of us, they cry foul of racism. Why our Council have to make certain position for the ethnic minority? If other countries also do the same for the British white people, then I would say fair. Racism is nonsense. British white people are the vicitim, not the minority. See the Big Brother show.

I thought it was a "things that make you go mmm?" question and quite amusing and challenging. You probably upset someone because you touched a nerve with some Dustbin Lid with no sense of humour. Perhaps you should expand the list to include Islam (crescent?), Buddhism(Buddha effigy?), Shinto (Sushi?, I dunno) and whatever to spread it around and dilute the vitriol, more of a challenge too. Maybe extend it to Martians too, be scary if you got a reply tho (cue Outer Limits theme.....)

I don't know about racist but your not going to kill that vampire by burning him. You have to drive a stake through his heart, Jewish or not.
