Yeah - you see I like the way you're thinking here.
I saw a documentary the other day that was talking about global dimming - the reduction in heat and light that reaches the surface because of the pollutants we chuck into the atmosphere, primarily with aircraft.
If we all flew our personal Lear jets everywhere and, as you say, left our fridge doors open for a while, this should bring the temperature down a bit.
I've also been busy rinsing choc ices down the sink in an attempt to prevent the ice caps melting.
Oh yes and drinking loads of beer to try to keep sea levels down.

Get a refrigerator thermometer and degree the temperature contained in the refrigerator. What occurs even as the door is open is that the compressor will run extra to attempt to keep issues cool, they even promote open fridges that is what you've at grocery shops. although the difficulty is the open door enable's in humidity which frosts up the evaporator. maximum fridges have a heater of the evaporator which will soften the ice that varieties yet extra ice would have formed then it would want to take care of because you left the door open. A refrigerator thermometer will inform you no matter if it continues to be accomplishing the wanted temperature, no matter if it isn't, you pick to promote off each and each and every of the nutrition into camp coolers, perhaps styrofoam coolers, cool the refrigerated products with bags of ice and the frozen products with dry ice or bags of ice with salt further, then unplug the refrigerator and positioned pots of warm water in it to defrost the refrigerator, replacing the nice and cozy water typically. The defrosting takes about 4 hours even though it would want to take an afternoon for it to stabilize on temperature.

If all fridge doors were opened simultaneously, it would instantaneously 'cool' the world. However if a single fridge draws about 11 amps (1,200) watts while operating to re-cool the compartment, it would actually add as much heat to the room as a 1.2 KW (kilowatt) electric heater adding to global warming. The power plants must consume enough coal (emitting huge amounts of CO2) to power all the fridges. Of course if you unplugged all the fridges and opened their doors you would achieve a very short-lived benefit to global warming (and lose all your food?).

NO - the Fridge motors would have to work even harder in an attempt to maintain cool temeperatures thereby adding to Global Warming. If the Fridge doors are kept closed then the motors don't work as hard and are therefore less harmful to the environment.

your gona cause global warming with the hot air your asking for with this question..
fridges work on heat pumps, they don't get rid of heat they just move it away from your food, so all you would be doing by opening your fridge door is running up your electric bill.
what would slow global warming is if everyone unplugged there fridge so the electric plants that burn things to make electricity don't have to burn as much stuff, (gas, trash, or bio) we could find other ways to preserve our food, like salting and drying.

No. The reason why is because:
1. People would still light their farts.
2. Donald Trump would complain about it being too cold so he'd just get a huge pile of money and burn it as a source of heat.
3. I made a DoomsDay rocket booster to slowly hurdle the Earth towards the sun ever so slighty during it's orbit. I'ld simply adjust it to compensate for any attempts to cool. You cannot foil my dastardly evil plans that easily.

I am afraid most of people answering your question do not recognize the brilliance of your plan. Another idea we should explore is that since most greenhouse gas is produced by cows, we should eat more beef. Also, we all exhale carbon dioxide, and I assume that the harder we work, the more carbon dioxide we exhale. I propose a limit on the amount of work humans may do each day.

I doubt it. Imagine the drain on energy resources, if at that same time everyone (with a refridgerator!) opened the doors, there would be a massive draw on power and probably blow out the local grid systems.

Unlikely, as the fridges use electricity which as it is being generated at power stations release Co2, so its likely to be an innefficient cycle

with the amount of cool that comes out it will be sucked up with the external heat of the fride the best way would be to turn it off then you are not creating heat from the motor
