Different post offices have different zip codes just like US. Zip code 1000 is for Ermita, Manila. Zip code 6000 is for Cebu City. And 6606 is zip code for Sogod, Southern Leyte. Etc, like that. You will need some kind of listing to find the correct one for the city you are mailing to. They don't call it zip code there its called postal code so if you ask someone from philippines about a "zip code" your going to get answers like the ones you have received here about country code in dialing a phone number which, obviously, aint the same.

1600 and 1000 are the zip code of places in the philippines... maybe your asking the country code....

Depending on where its going the zip code is different. Manila and its surrounding areas definitely need a zip code, but small towns, the name should be sufficient

there is no real zip for the Philippines. they just go by the city. mail is not like here in the states. they dnt get mail everyday.if mail comes from States the latter will hand deliver it to a person in the house.there is UPS and DHL for package.just letters will be hand delivered
