When and Where did the title Gay start to describe Homosexual ?

Does this imply that you are happy with who you are ? It's about 4:20 or so and this is one of those unsolved mysteries to me .

I think both "gay" and "f a g"come from the Yiddish word "feygellah" (sp?).

It means "little bird" and has long been slang for an effeminate man.

I have nothing to support this theory - but it is all my own.
