I know it is the responsibility of the spouse to say yes or no to an affair but why is it that their lovers encourage the cheating when they know they are still married instead of staying clear of them until they finally separate or divorce

Why does the other woman /man encourage the cheating spouse by seducing them and making them feel that they deserve better than their spouse(the one being cheated on) and that they can give them better.Don't they want to know the truth and not just the cheaters side

I assume you are talking about a relationship that has broken down? I know that in some "normal" relationships, one or both of the people involved enjoy an "open" relationship, where they can sleep with whom ever they choose, but remain married and in co-habitation with another partner. If you look at it logically, if you are divorcing or seperating, you really don't give a monkey's left b*llock what they do, otherwise you would still be happily together. Some people use the "Go ahead, I don't care!" speech as a trap. The law states that if a partner in an habitual adulterer, then you can file for divorce and have a strong case for upto 6 months after the last case of bed-hopping!

Perhaps to try control that self consuming emotion of jealousy they feel by encouraging this type of behaviour in the other partner is the only way they can control jealousy (themselves) before it destroys each individual and the relationship. To give total freedom to the other (even though it may never be taken) is the purest form of love.

My ex put it like this:

We all think about members of the opposite sex when we are in a relationship. Cheating crosses our minds every once in a while. His philosophy was that if the other person knew and approved, it was not considered cheating and it helped get the lustfulness out of their system.

It didn't help my heart any, but that was his reasoning.

You tell them, they confront the sweetheart, the sweetheart makes good excuse and then turns chum hostile to you, you and chum strive against, he takes lover decrease back and now you have not got any chum. seen it bypass down like that way too many situations, enable him capture her, even as that human being catches them, then they make a determination in accordance to thier personal emotions no longer a gaggle of he suggested she suggested crap that they actually are not constructive about anyhow.

i think its because they dont want to wait, bit of selfishness too, if the 3rd party is single, they have little understanding of the committment and difficulties if an affair arises for the married party
