This does not seem fair to me! When our state asked for aid we were denied b/c of Katrina. If any state should be prepared for disaster it should be Fl.

Your tornadoes were not as destructive as these were...20 people were not killed and 2 towns were not wiped off the face of the earth. And central Florida, although hit by hurricanes on occasion, have an alert system for them...it's called time. We know when they are coming a week in advance!! A tornado hit when and where it pleases, as you should know!

As to this particular case, I don't know. But FEMA bases their relief on the amount of people in the area, the amount of damage and how prepared the area already was. Generally, FEMA acts a suppliment to the state emergency response. If it was adaquate in WI, then you aren't going to need or get the aid.
Are you sure it was denied completely - as they may have denied only certain aspects (they may have brought in buses or trucks for example, rather than sending in loads of relief workers and food, if those were in good supply).

Additionally, for the responder above - I'm assuming you were trying to reference that Bush is President and his brother was governor of Florida. But Jeb Bush isn't governor anymore, so that's not what is doing it.

Florida was hit by two category 5 hurricanes within a 6 week period, Katrina and Wilma, and those resulted in a lot of devastation, but Florida didn't ask for, or receive half of what Louisiana got, because our Governor knew what he was doing. Do you think that it's a possibility that WI didn't get FEMA help because they didn't ask for it? I've seen a lot of articles by citizens stating that they were proud that they didn't need the help.

in accordance to the coroner in Joplin, Missouri, maximum twister sufferers died of blunt rigidity trauma. an identical clarification for lack of existence is often curious about motor automobile crashes. often times trauma is to the pinnacle (mind) and infrequently to different considered necessary organs. I d have a good time with seeing someone with direct journey answer this question. I ve frequently puzzled about human beings falling/jumping from a tall progression - of direction there is blunt rigidity trauma or crushing even as they hit the floor yet do maximum of them proceed to exist the autumn itself or do they bypass into cardiac arrest? I don t imagine those questions are gruesome in any respect yet symbolize a organic interest in a extra open society.

Sad to say but how many Electoral Votes does WI have. I live in Florida I we are in the top ten or 15. It is not based on need, it is based on politics.
