My husband has been complaining that when he urinates the last bit feels hot. Just now when he went to the toilet it looked like blood in the last bit. He is 40. What could be wrong?

He possibly has a Urinary Tract Infection, he should seek proper medical advice, although this is the most common cause,there are other conditions which display similar symptoms, he may require a course of antibiotics to clear it up,the sooner he pays a visit too his Doctor the sooner an appropriate treatment can be found.

i know this may sound a little odd but have you thought that he might have a kidney stone, or just a plain bladder infection.
you must not wait get him into emerg, or call you family doctor, if not go to an after hours clinic.
to me it sound like a kidney stone thats just starting to form.
i may be wrong though, but it doesnt hurt to get it checked out.
