It is not covered by warranty, does anyone know how much it will cost to be repaired? The phone will switch on but then will do nothing.

Try doing it yourself first. Take all the covers off, remove the battery and anything else you can take out without damaging it. Leave it in a warm, not hot, place for a few days and see what happens. You may be lucky.

attempt doing it your self first. Take each and each and every of the covers off, get rid of the battery and some thing else you may take out without unfavorable it. go away it in a warmth, no longer warm, position for some days and see what occurs. you'd be fortunate.

ok this is a common problem iv done this many times. this may seem a stupid thing to do but it works.

Take your phone appart as much as you can. i.e. battery, sim, memory card etc.

Rinse your phone under the cold water tap for a few seconds.
The reason for rinsing it out is the water that got in it before could have been dirty and this should clean it out.

Then shake the excess water out.

Either put it on a hot radiator with a thick towel underneath it or dry it with a hair dryer.

Radiator works best.

After a few days put it back together and it should work.
