It may seem like a pat answer but talking to a nutritionist is your best bet. They can study your physiology and let you know how many calories and what type are best for you. Exercise, as you are already doing, is great, but I have been told to really lose weight, a person should work out five days a week for at least thirty minutes.
Personally, I lost 45 pounds but it took slimfast for breakfast, plenty of hydration, working out almost every day and a lot of willpower.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

WEIGHT WATCHERS--it is designed by scientists and medical doctors so that if it is followed properly--you will lose weight, get all your required nutrients and remain healthy. I have spoken with many doctors (especially female docs) and they all say that this is the only diet that they feel comfortable recommending from a medical prospective. I have personally see a lot of success from the program as well. It may seem pricey at first with the weekly dues--but it is worth it AND some insurance companies are offering discounts now too. Good luck

Here’s all you need to lose weight. First, you have to realize there is no quick, long lasting weight loss plan or pill that is going to do the trick. It’s purely mental. You have to learn to “Eat to live, don’t live to eat”. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? It is, if you understand that you are going to be reprogramming how you think about eating for the next few weeks. Old habits die hard, right? Not really. You get rid of bad habits by replacing them with good habits. If you learn to count your calories, keep calorie intake lower than output, exercise moderately, and eat only healthy food, you will lose weight. That’s a fact. All it takes is repetition. All success stories have this in common: The successful folks among us know how to be patient, persistent, and consistent. Set a goal and stick with it. The benefits of feeling good will outweigh any sense of sacrifice you might feel about having to push away that cake and ice cream. Eat right, Low carb, high fiber. Stop eating food in bed, No snacks between meals! Get a physical hobby, like horse back riding. Don't forget lot's of sex can help burn fat, 100 calories per hour. So you don't have time for a quick romp between TVshows. You need to put time into the activity. What I mean sex like you had in your 20's hot sweaty wake up the house type.
Good Luck on your diet

I looooove Weight Watchers, you still eat what you want but not all the time, you start eating healthier,go to meetings for support and questions and start exercising.
I know women that have lost 200lbs on WW, some are over 40 yrs old, soooo it's doable!
