It is cuz white parents don't stand up to thier kids. Your not being racist. Black parents won't stand for thier kid to back talk, if they do then the kid gets a smack. Asians & others have a different way of raising thier children so that thier children don't back talk but get repect instead.

don't quote me as racist, but i think that black kids talk to their parents like trash. in downtown where i live, i see most black moms with their kids and the kids are screaming and yelling and cussing at their parents in the middle of public places. me or any of my friends would be in so much trouble if we did that!

ooh... This question sure struck some sort of forest fire.. Umm... Ok, so most "White" kids are brought up in a carefree way. This is mostly due to the fact that there is so much teenage pregnancy, and people having kids as soon as they are legally responsible for themselves. These parents in turn teach their kids through their actions that being irresponsible, disrespecting authority, etc. is the right thing to do. I am one of the only kids in my school who's parents aren't in their 20s... I both love having the knowledge that my "older" parents can give me, and yet hate that I don't get as much fun or time out of them as you could out of younger parents. Anyway, most "white kids" are brought up in a way that makes them resent their parents, or in the case of the ones who can get 200 dollars at will, they don't see how lucky they are, and how stupid they are to go spend those $200 on a pair of jeans or something. "Black" parents were brought up to be respectful, and remember what it was like when they didn't get their own respect. Slavery... I could kill the person who thought of it... Anyway, they raise their kids to be respectful mostly, though the younger parents, like the younger "white" parents, don't really know the value of respect. Anyway, we talk to our parents like trash mostly because we don't see eye to eye on things, and our friends encourage it because they are all ridiculously stupid. I'm 13, so I guess I know. Even kids who have good parents who know how to teach respect get to be friends with idiots that think that they are cool and get into the bad crowd where drinking is cool and pill popping is cool, and when their parents say that it is bad, they talk trash because that's all they know how to do. One kid at my school was popping pills or something, and his dad found out. The dad took his son to the POLICE STATION. I think that took care of that... Anyway, I hope this helped. Sometimes I think it would be better if everybody was blind, then they wouldn't know the difference between black and white, and wouldn't have all these stupid social structures.. I feel that no matter what your color or ethnic back ground, what you are taught decides how you act. If a parent teaches respect and manners, a child will practice these. Our children, all 5 of them are taught respect and manners. They do not speak to us like trash. If they do become disrespectful for a minute, it is very easy to get them back in line.

I see kids from all backgrounds, black, white, Latino, rich & poor treating their parents like trash. When the parents do not correct them, that becomes their fault. It is easier to give into kids than to teach them right. This is because parents are too lazy or too tired to correct their children. A child can only act the way they have been taught and the way that is instilled into them.

This is a parents issue, until parents stop allowing the behavior it will continue.

i am not trying to be rude, but it doesnt matter what skin color you have. It s outside influences. (not trying to be racist but..) Usually, even today, black people and Asian people dont get the respect they deserve.So when thier mother and/or father get home they feel like crap, and they don't need more from thier child. Also I think it has been pased down thru the age on how to disiplin children. Also, trust me, i have seen some VERY, VERY disrespectful black, asians, and mexicans. Mexicans is my most seeing, because i live in southern Texas. This is probably the mos disrespectful culture I have seen. they illegally immigrate to amrica, then they refuse to speak english. And the way they treat thier parents is no better, but thier parents dont care at all. Now me, i am probably the whitest person EVER!! and i treat my parents with great respect. We are a struggling family of 4 that own a bissinus ( dispite the myth that all entrepenures are rich) and are struggling. the most I have disrespected my parents is 1 time, under my breath, i muttered 'stupid' to my mom. And boy did I get in trouble!!!!

I think all races of kids talk to their parents like trash- its not something you can really define. But maybe because in other cultures it isn't tolerated and the parents are much stricter. Or ( I realize I sound deeply un-politically correct), perhaps many people who came to the U.S. recently still retain some of their strictness from their other country, and haven't assimilated as much.
But I have noticed now that many people do talk back to their parents, maybe its just because we're getting older. But I hear girls calling their mother bitches to their faces (and for very stupid reasons too), and I'm sort of (really) apalled. I mean, sometimes I do get angry with my mother, but the farthest I've ever gone is a "Thats unfair!", and even then I apologize right after. Coincidentally, these girls are white, but then so am I.

I am White/Spanish and i would never talk to my parents like trash i would be grounded for a very long time. I think it depends were you are and the financial stablility of the family to really decide if white kids are disrespectful to their parents.

I'm white and I don't talk to my mom like trash, but I've observed that some other white kids my age do. You are so right that most other nationalities do not do this! I've never observed it.

I'm not exactly sure of the answer to your question, but I can say that maybe whites are weaker. One thing I have observed is that blacks and asians seem to be tougher.

It is not only white kids that do it, I have been around a lot of kids it is how they are raised in how they treat others. Just like kids not liking others based on the color of their skin, they learn it from their parents just as you have learned to not like white people
