I have the Sims Complete Collection (four disks) and a cd burner. My question is can I back up the Sims game disk? I back up my movies all the time but have never done a game. My kids want to play and we all take turns...which takes forever. Can I just backup mine?? How?

Go to this link for all the tools & info you need to copy a game CD.

CD GAME COPY PROTECTIONS

As for copying rented movies :

DVD Shrink can copy any copyright protected DVD to a blank DVD or to your hard drive.

Here is the link for DVD Shrink :
http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/.........

It is totally free & remains the best of it's kind (even the ones you pay for).

It requires you to have Nero or another DVD burning program installed because it uses their engine for the burn process.
http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-demo...

The beauty of it is that even if Nero is an expired trial version DVD Shrink will continue to successfully use it's engine for burning.

So so easy to use .... 2 or 3 clicks & it's done .... will copy ANY DVD. If you ever get a "copyright protected" (quite rare) message just restart the program & it will eventually succeed.

I've been using it for years now ... works perfectly every time.

i once tried to do it on Nero (cd copier) , but the game would not start up. I don't really know if you really can do it successfully. Mabey you can find a cd that copies copy proof disks.
