A LOT! And I waited til I was 31 to get married to just the right guy. It is sooo worth getting through all those losers and not getting married too quickly. Be sure you have "the one" and you're not just infatuated before getting married!

I got around quite a bit, i'm not sure how many people i dated but would be more than 100 men as i have some pretty high standards.
Not sure what i'll do now as i'm a widow having buried my husband of several years just a week ago.
I'm certainly not looking for anyone at the moment nor in the the forseable future.

I went out with a bunch of girls when I was younger. I had one long term relationship (4 years) as an adult before I met my wife. We dated for several years before we got married. Just wanted to make sure she was the one. Life has been good since. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I was basically a kept man until i was 38, A very wealthy older lady fell in love with me when i was 18 in the military and basically we lived as husband and wife for just over 20 years until she passed away in a political upheaval in her country. So i didn't start dating until i was nearing middle age and returned the U.S.A.
It's not been a good experience, I've dated perhaps 100 women married 3 of them now on my 4th and just living together. Unless this one i'm with now kicks me to the curb, i'll probably more than likely be with her until i die.

well once you find the one you just know. there are no tests, no contests. if he or she makes you feel like no other then they are probably it. if they make you feel like you are the only one, if a year later you cant stand to be apart, sex still feels like the first time and you look into eachotherseyes and everything else dissapears, then thats it. If you are dancing and the everyone stops and stares and you wonder why, it is because they see something you cant. He or she is the one if you thought it was impossible for you to ever find love and be happy, go for it! You never have anything to lose if that person is the one, if you feel like you might lose then step back and look again, there is no way to explain "the one" you just know it and feel it, in a different way then normal, maybe just a slight difference but you will know.

Only one, who i actually thought i would marry at first, but found out he was a jerk.
I believe in getting to know a person, before jumping into "dating" them. I socialized with a other men also, but only dated 2. The Jerk and then my husband.
